A quiet landscape with a heavy story.
American Remains pulls from the stillness of the desert - where time stretches, memories linger, and everything eventually settles into the earth. Inspired by the song, the piece captures a stripped-down Western scene: open land, distant mountains, scattered life… and what’s left behind.
A lone marker reads “I’ll Ride Again” - a subtle nod to legacy, to movement, to the idea that nothing truly ends, it just changes form. There’s no chaos here, no drama - just silence, space, and weight.
Drawn in black ink with a minimal, intentional hand, the composition leans into openness. The negative space does as much talking as the lines themselves.
This is a piece about presence, absence, and everything in between.
